My Top 4 Tips for Creating an Amazing Sales Call Experience
 
 

Knowing how to create an amazing sales call experience for a potential client will establish you as a true professional and guarantee an awesome start to your working relationship with them.

Here are my top 4 tips for creating a great first impression with your sales or discovery calls.

⭐️30 minutes before the call

Review your packages and be sure you’re totally familiar with your different offers as well as points you’re willing to negotiate on.

Read through the information you’ve gathered on your potential client. You want to already know who they are, what they do (be familiar with at least the basics of their business) and what they may be needing from you.

⭐️10 minutes before the call

Send a message reminding them of the call. Tell them you’re super excited to be chatting to them and include your call link again.

⭐️Be early!

Get onto your call platform early and wait for them. This ensures that you’re not late or you’re already there if they’re early! Best of all, you’ll showcase your professionalism and eagerness to meet them.

⭐️Be Prepared

I always keep my trusty notebook and a pen nearby. At the beginning of the call, I’ll let my potential client know I’ll be looking down to take notes on what they’re saying and also reading from my own notes to make sure I’m covering all the essentials.

In whatever form you prefer, it’s a good idea to take notes during your call so you don’t forget any important information, questions or requests.

⭐️After the call

My final tip to take the call experience from being ordinary to extraordinary is to send a message - preferably a voice message - afterwards to thank them for their time. If you’ve decided to work together, use this time to immediately express your excitement at working with them.

This finishing touch will round off your call experience and leave a lasting impression of your professionalism and enthusiasm for the work you do!
