Uncovering the Mystery of Instagram Engagement
When I first started my Instagram account for my business, I honestly didn’t know what Instagram Engagement was.
You may wonder how I was planning to specialize in IG Engagement if I didn’t even know what it was 🤦♀️
Well, I first started my biz as a VA who specialized in Dubsado set ups, a speciality which, by the way, has stayed useful as I’m able to offer this as an added service for my clients.
When trying to attract clients through Instagram for my business, I realized I was missing something… I felt overwhelmed and frustrated. I was tired and stressed spending HOURS wandering around on Instagram and getting nowhere.
This lead to Instagram not working for my biz.
I was missing the key ingredient to my success:

No matter the service/business, if you’re wanting Instagram to work for your business, you need Instagram Engagement.
Let’s demystify Instagram Engagement by looking at the simple definition of engagement, which in this context means to meet or to be present.
And this is how I realised there are two ways to approach Instagram Engagement that’ll keep things authentic and effective.
Instagram Engagement is:
⭐️MEETING NEW PEOPLE
Ideal clients i.e. potential business opportunities
Fellow business owners i.e. an involved community who have similar goals
Successful biz owners i.e. mentors and people who inspire you to action and to reach for your dreams
⭐️ BEING PRESENT
Being present when commenting on posts. Read through posts first and then comment authentically.
Being present when replying to stories. Reply back in a real way (not only using quick reactions or emojis).
SO if Instagram is still not working for your business, it’s time to get engaging!
