These 6 Tips Will Keep Your Instagram Stories On Brand
 
 

Instagram Stories are where it’s at in 2020! They’re an amazing opportunity to expand the reach of your brand.

A key part of showing up on stories is showcasing your brand consistently. Here are some finer details you’ll want to keep your eye on when creating Instagram stories that your viewers will easily connect with your brand.

Brand Colors on IG Stories

Brand colors are really effective in helping people remember and identify you. Use your brand colors wherever possible on your stories. Select 2-3 colors from the available color palate and use these consistently in your fonts, backgrounds or to draw with.

Font Details

Instagram provides 5 fonts for you to choose from. Stick with one or two that match your brand and you’ll find it really pulls your story look together. Along with a recognisable font, take it to the next level by keeping your text size and thickness the same too.

Go the extra mile and consistently use chosen emojis and GIFs in your stories too. Little details like these all work together to draw your brand together more cohesively.

Brand Filters

There are so many filters to choose from, but choose wisely! Do exploding hearts or dog ears match your brand? If yes, go ahead! But remember, choose filters (2 or 3) that match your brand feel and don’t stand in the way of the message you’re bringing across. Watch your stories go from haphazard to professionally polished!

Bonus Tip: Try Story Templates

If you’re feeling super organized, creating stunning stories with templates are an amazing way to level up your brand image. Using one of the many design apps or programs available, it’s simple to create gorgeous Instagram stories using your brand colors, brand texts and other brand essentials.

Instagram Story Highlihghts

Keep your story highlight covers on brand too by using your brand colors and/or little icons or photos that match your business.

Story Content

Along with these visual aspects, keep your brand message clear by centering your stories around up to 5 main topics. These topics should give definition and personality to your brand, they should represent who you are, what you stand for and what you like.
